A 13-year-old girl was allegedly raped by seven people, including six boys, in Chhattisgarh’s Jashpur district, police said on Tuesday. Police detained all the seven accused. Barring a 19-year-old, the others are minors (aged between 15 and 17 years), a police officer said, adding that one of them was known to the victim. A Delhi Police head constable allegedly shot himself dead on Tuesday at his house here, with his family members saying he was suffering from depression, according to police. They said Vikas (38) allegedly dies by suicide at his house in Police Colony in the Jyoti Nagar area around midnight. He had a gunshot injury on head, a senior police officer said, adding he was not reporting for duty from Friday.
