Thailand Launches ETA For India And 92 Nations Starting Dec 1: How to Apply And Key Benefits

<p><strong>ETA:</strong> Thailand has announced the launch of a new Electronic Travel Authorisation (ETA) system for visa-exempt travellers, including those from India, effective December 1. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs confirmed that the ETA system aims to simplify immigration processes and enhance the monitoring of foreign nationals entering the country.</p> <p>”This initiative is part of Thailand&rsquo;s ongoing efforts to bolster national security and improve the management of visitor flows while maintaining its reputation as a leading global tourist destination,” a ministry statement said.</p> <h3><strong>Visa Exemption Expansion</strong></h3> <p>The announcement follows Thailand’s recent decision to expand visa exemptions to more countries in July this year. Venus, Moon, Space Station Missions Get Approval In India’s Biggest Push For Space

The Union Cabinet has approved space missions totalling Rs 31,772 crores paving the way for the roadmap for the Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) till almost 2040. The Chandrayaan-4 mission; a mission to Venus; and the enhanced Gaganyaan mission to include the Bhartiya Antariksha Station; and the development of the new rocket Soorya all got approval from the Union Cabinet led by Prime Minister Narendra Modi. The approvals come within 100 days of the third term of the new government. Mpox Case Detected In Kerala, Patient Recently Travelled From UAE

Kerala on Wednesday confirmed India’s second Mpox, or monkeypox case. Health Minister Veena George said a 38-year-old man from Malappuram had tested positive after returning from the United Arab Emirates. In a post on Facebook Ms George also urged the public to seek treatment and inform the Health Department if they displayed any of the known symptoms. The Health Minister said the Mpox patient had been isolated and is being treated in accordance with established medical protocols.

<p>In an interview with ABP News, BJP candidate Sunil Sharma from the Paddar-Nagseni constituency in Kishtwar stated that he had defeated National Conference&rsquo;s Sajad Ahmed Kichloo in 2014. He expressed confidence that the Bharatiya Janata Party would win all three seats in Kishtwar with a substantial margin. Sharma criticized the pre-Article 370 mindset of local leaders, who he claimed believed that terrorists would secure them votes. With Article 370 abolished, separatism has been eradicated, forcing Kashmiri politicians to seek votes from the people for the first time. Sharma also criticized Rashid Engineer, labeling him as a dubious character known for changing allegiances, and predicted that both political families would be defeated.</p>
