<p>Atishi Marlena, the new Chief Minister of Delhi, has been in the spotlight recently with several questions raised on social media about her wealth. According to her 2020 affidavit, Atishi’s assets are worth approximately ₹1.41 crore, most of which is held in bank accounts and fixed deposits. Despite being a millionaire, she also has a LIC health insurance policy. Notably, her total deposits in banks and other financial institutions amount to over ₹1.04 crore, which includes her husband’s income. Atishi holds two bank FDs worth ₹39 lakh and around ₹1.86 lakh in NSS Postal Savings. Surprisingly, she does not own any property or land.</p>

<p>A blast during a funeral procession, believed to have targeted a Hezbollah operative in Lebanon’s capital city Beirut, was captured on video and shared widely on social media. Jason Brodsky, Policy Director at United Against Nuclear Iran (UANI), shared the footage, showing a large crowd of men, women, and children attending the funeral when a sudden explosion erupted near an ambulance.</p> <p>The video, filmed by an onlooker on a mobile phone, depicts a plume of smoke rising from a person standing near the vehicle. The Graded Response Action Plan (GRAP) — a set of emergency measures to control air pollution in the Delhi-NCR region during winter — has come into effect earlier than the usual date of October 1, according to officials. The Commission for Air Quality Management, an autonomous body responsible for preparing the strategy to improve air quality in Delhi and nearby areas, said on Wednesday that polluting buses from NCR states will not be allowed to enter Delhi if the city’s air quality index (AQI) reaches Stage III — ‘Severe’ (AQI between 401 and 450).
