Registrations will close for the Common Admission Test (CAT) 2024 tomorrow. Interested and eligible candidates who wish to appear in the entrance exam can register on the official website of CAT 2024 by September 20, 2024, 5 pm. IIM Calcutta had earlier extended the registration date for CAT 2024 to September 20. The previous deadline for CAT registrations was September 13.  Admit cards for the test are scheduled to be released on November 5. The exam will be conducted by IIM Calcutta on November 24 across 170 cities. The government has launched a new scheme under the National Pension System (NPS) aimed at financially securing the future of children. The NPS Vatsalya scheme, announced in the Union Budget 2024 in July, was launched by Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman on September 18. The pension scheme will be managed under the Pension Fund Regulatory and Development Authority (PFRDA).
