The Centre on Thursday told the Supreme Court that it will be providing some details next week concerning the collegium’s recommendations on the appointment of chief justices in several high courts in the country. The submissions to this effect were made by Attorney General R Venkataramani before a bench headed by Chief Justice D Y Chandrachud while seeking an adjournment of the hearing on a PIL which is listed for hearing on Friday. “I will be providing some details about the collegium’s recommendations. Chinese electric vehicle manufacturer BYD is set to launch the eMax 7 MPV in the Indian market on October 8, the company announced. The deliveries are likely to begin in the festive season.  BYD commenced India sales with the e6 MPV, which was largely restricted to fleet owners. YouTuber MrBeast has been named in a lawsuit claiming participants in his $5 million jackpot game show were exploited. Contestants say they were subjected to unfair treatment and sexual harassment while participating in what has been billed as the world’s biggest live game show. Papers filed in a Los Angeles court on Monday allege contestants were not paid proper wages, and were not given meal breaks or appropriate rest.
