Drone Launched From “The East” Killed 2 Soldiers, Says Israel

The Israeli army on Friday said a drone launched “from the east” killed two soldiers, with a public broadcaster reporting the strike originated from Iraq and hit a base in the Israeli-annexed Golan Heights. The military said the two soldiers died in northern Israel. When asked by AFP for details it said the soldiers were killed in a drone strike launched from the east, without specifying from where. Google Tests Verified Check Marks In Search Results For Certain Companies

Alphabet’s Google is testing showing check marks next to certain companies on its search results, a company spokesperson said on Friday, in a move aimed at helping users identify verified sources and steer clear of fake websites. Telecom Dept Introduces System To Identify, Block International Spoofed Calls Targeting Indian Subscribers

<p>The Department of Telecommunications (DoT), in partnership with Telecom Service Providers (TSPs), has introduced an advanced system designed to identify and block incoming international spoofed calls before they reach Indian telecom subscribers, according to a release by the Ministry of Communications.</p> <p>The system will be implemented in two stages: initially at the TSP level to block spoofed calls using their subscribers’ numbers, followed by a centralised approach to prevent spoofed calls originating from other TSPs.</p> <p>Recently, the DoT also disengaged the WhatsApp account associated with a fraudulent mobile number involved in a scam call in Agra. “As of now, all four TSPs have successfully implemented the system. IDF Reports 2,000 Military Targets, 250 Hezbollah Terrorists Eliminated In Southern Lebanon Over 4 Days
