Menstrual Hygiene Policy For School Students Approved: Supreme Court Told

The Centre on Monday informed the Supreme Court of framing the “Menstrual Hygiene Policy for School Going Girls” approved by the Union Health Ministry. The Centre referred to a top court order of April 10, 2023, and said the Union Ministry of the Health and Family Welfare framed the policy over menstrual hygiene of female school children which was approved by the minister concerned on November 2, 2024. Kuki Groups Allege “Barbaric Actions” By Central Force, Day After 10 Killed In Manipur “Encounter”

Several civil society groups and student organisations of the Kuki tribes have condemned what they call “barbaric actions” of the Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF), a day after 10 men from the Kuki tribes were killed in Manipur’s Jiribam district. Three children including two babies, one of them a two-year-old, and three women from the Meitei community are also missing from Jiribam since yesterday. A high-tech marijuana operation, using imported seeds and full-spectrum grow lights, has been busted in Greater Noida and an English graduate from Meerut has been arrested. Police said the man cultivated at least 100 marijuana plants, including premium (OG) and other varieties, at his flat in Beta-2’s Parsvnath Panorama society, selling the produce from each of them on the dark web for between Rs 50,000 and Rs 60,000.
