Indian Army Recovers Huge Cache Of Weapons, Ammunition From Manipur

In a coordinated effort, troops of the Indian Army, Assam Rifles, Manipur Police, and other security forces deployed in Manipur successfully recovered 18 weapons, ammunition, and warlike stores, according to a press release from the Indian Army. The operation was conducted from October 4 to October 6 across the Churachandpur, Kakching, and Thoubal districts of Manipur. On October 4, Assam Rifles and Manipur Police launched a joint operation in the Khengmol area of Churachandpur district, recovering one 9 mm pistol, five single-barrel rifles, and five improvised heavy mortars. AAP Worker Shot Dead By 3 Unidentified People On Bike In Punjab: Cops

An Aam Aadmi Party worker was shot dead allegedly by three unidentified persons here on Monday, police said. The worker was identified as Rajvinder Singh, a resident of Talwandi Mour Singh village, they added. Three unidentified people, who were on a motorcycle, intercepted Singh’s car near Takkarpur village and allegedly fired at him and fled, police said. Rajvinder Singh was rushed to a hospital where he succumbed to bullet injuries, they added. Meanwhile, the Aam Aadmi Party expressed grief over the death of the party worker in Tarn Taran.
