Registrations Begin For ICSIs Certificate Course On Forensic Audit

The Institute of Company Secretaries of India (ICSI) is offering a course on Forensic Audit (FORA) for interested and eligible aspirants. Registrations for the course started from October 7 and would conclude on November 4, 2024. The course will give professionals in-depth knowledge of the fraud risks, market trends, regulatory requirements and practical nuances while performing the Forensic Audit. It will be offered through online live webinars with interactive sessions. “Unexplained Slowdown”: Congress Complains To Poll Body On Haryana Results

The Congress on Tuesday afternoon filed a formal complaint with the Election Commission regarding a delay in publishing the leads and results of the Haryana poll. In a brief letter the opposition party said that between 9 and 11 am there was “an unexplained slowdown in updating of results”. “As you can imagine this allows bad faith actors to spin out narratives that undermine the process. You can see examples of it already playing out on social media. <p>The Kerala Legislative Assembly passed a resolution censuring four Opposition legislators for “disorderly conduct” that allegedly tarnished the dignity of the House and violated the Speaker’s special privileges on Tuesday. This came in response to the events of Monday’s Zero Hour following which Kerala government moved a condemnation motion against the opposition’s disruptive actions.</p> <p>The UDF MLAs including Mathew Kuzhalnadan, IC Balakrishnan, Anwar Sadath and Sajeev Joseph were reprimanded over the protest.
