Three Independent Haryana MLAs, including India’s richest woman Savitri Jindal, are likely to extend support to the BJP government in the state. Ms Jindal, Devender Kadyan and Rajesh Joon will meet the BJP high command and the state election in-charge Dharmendra Pradhan today. Ms Jindal, who had earlier been a minister in the last Congress government in the state, won from the Hisar seat. She had won the Hisar twice earlier – in 2005 and 2009. UNESCO has invited nominations from eligible applicants for the second edition of UNESCO-Al Fozan International Prize for the Promotion of Young Scientists in Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics. The prize is awarded every two years to five talented young people for their contributions to research, education or scientific cooperation.  The laureates will each receive USD 50,000, to help launch their careers and share their ideas more widely.
