Maharashtra: NCP Leader Baba Siddique Shot Dead Outside Son Zeeshan’s Office In Mumbai, 2 Held

<p><strong>Maharashtra News:</strong> Nationalist Congress Party’s senior leader Baba Siddique was shot dead by unidentified assailants on Saturday. He was rushed to Lilavati Hospital but succumbed to his injuries. Two people related to the firing have been taken into custody, Mumbai Police informed, as per news agency ANI. Maharashtra Ex Minister Baba Siddique Shot At In Mumbai’s Bandra, Critical

Baba Siddique, a former Maharashtra minister and member of the Ajit Pawar faction of the NCP, has been shot at in Mumbai’s Bandra and rushed to a hospital, where his condition is said to be critical.  Sources said three bullets were fired at Mr Siddique around 9.30 pm on Saturday at the office of his son Zeeshan, who is the MLA from Bandra East. <p>Former Delhi University professor Gokarakonda Naga Saibaba passed away on Saturday evening at the age of 57. He was undergoing treatment at&nbsp;Nizam&rsquo;s Institute of Medical Sciences in Hyderabad after he had developed post-operative complications following a surgery for gallbladder stones.&nbsp;</p> <p>The wheelchair-bound professor had been acquitted in a case of alleged links with Maoists just seven months ago after spending 10 years in prison.</p> <p>He was admitted to NIMS 10 days ago due to ill health.
