<p>New Delhi, Oct 24 (PTI) Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Omar Abdullah, who is on his first official visit to Delhi after assuming office, called on Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Thursday and handed over to him a resolution seeking early restoration of statehood to the union territory, officials said.</p> <p>The meeting lasted over 30 minutes during which Abdullah discussed various issues related to Jammu and Kashmir, including the present security situation and development works. A wire-tapping scandal has rocked Mauritius just weeks before the Indian Ocean island nation goes to the polls. Phone calls by politicians, journalists, members of civil society and even foreign diplomats have been recorded and leaked online this month, local media reports said. Bushra Bibi, the wife of former Pakistan Prime Minister Imran Khan, was released from prison on Thursday, a day after she was granted bail in a case linked to the illegal sale of state gifts, ending about nine months of imprisonment. The release is the biggest legal relief for Imran Khan and his family since he was imprisoned in August last year. Chinese Company To Sell Tickets For Space Tourism Flights In 2027

A Chinese company will launch sales on Thursday of two tickets for a commercial spaceflight planned for 2027. The tickets sold by firm Deep Blue Aerospace cost 1.5 million yuan ($211,000) and are for seats on a suborbital flight in which passengers will experience five minutes of zero gravity. They go on sale at 6:00 pm local time (1000 GMT) Thursday during a livestream shopping event hosted by the company’s founder Huo Liang, Deep Blue announced via their WeChat account this week.
