Actor Nimrat Kaur Inaugurates War Memorial Dedicated To Her Father In Rajasthan

Major Bhupender Singh, who was killed by terrorists on January 23, 1994, was honoured today in Rajasthan’s Sri Ganganagar, his hometown, on the occasion of his 72nd birth anniversary. A war memorial dedicated to him and 12 others who were killed in the line of duty, with his bronze bust in place, was inaugurated by his family- wife Avinash Kaur and daughters Rubina Singh and Bollywood actor Nimrat Kaur. The memorial has been set up at a public square, now named Major Bhupender Singh Chowk, in Sri Ganganagar’s central area. Pregnant Delhi Teen Killed, Buried By Boyfriend Over Marriage Pressure

A teenager from Delhi has allegedly been killed and buried by her boyfriend and two of his aides because she was pregnant and wanted to marry him while he wanted her to abort the baby.  Soni, who was 19 years old and a resident of west Delhi’s Nangloi, was very active on social media, where she had more than 6,000 followers, and had posted many photos and videos of herself and her boyfriend Sanju aka Saleem. Baba Siddique Murder Case: 32-Year-Old Man Arrested From Punjab’s Ludhiana

Police have arrested one more person in connection with the murder of NCP leader and former Maharashtra minister Baba Siddique from Ludhiana, an official said on Friday, taking the number of those held in the case to 15. The accused, Sujit Sushil Singh (32), was caught from the Punjab town by a Mumbai police team and was being brought to the metropolis, he said. The 66-year-old NCP leader was shot dead by three gunmen on October 12 in Mumbai’s Bandra area.

Four, and not three, guns were used in the murder of Maharashtra politician Baba Siddique, who was shot dead earlier this month sending shock waves across the country, investigation has revealed, said Mumbai police on Friday.   The Mumbai police is investigating if the guns were sent to India by Pakistan via drones, the source added.
