Adding to the string of death threats against Salman Khan, an anonymous message to Mumbai traffic control today threatened that the actor would be killed unless he paid Rs 2 crore as ransom, police sources have said. Police have registered a case against an unidentified person and an investigation is on. The case has been registered under sections relating to threats of extortion and death threats. This comes shortly after a 20-year-old man was arrested from Noida over death threats to the actor and Zeeshan Siddiqui, MLA and son of NCP (Ajit Pawar) leader Baba Siddique, who was shot dead on October 12. <p>Bollywood superstar Salman Khan has received yet another death threat. On Tuesday, traffic control received a message from an unknown person demanding Rs 2 crore. An officer from the department said the message sender threatened to kill Salman Khan if the money was not delivered.</p> <p>The Worli police in Mumbai have registered a case against an unknown person under sections 354 (2), 308 (4) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita.</p>

Actor Darshan Thoogudeepa was arrested with his friend and actor Pavithra Gowda and 15 others for the torture and murder of one of his fans, 33-year-old Renukaswamy, in Bengaluru in June and had approached the Karnataka High Court for interim bail. Darshan has sought interim bail on the grounds that he is experiencing numbness in both feet.
