Video: Ayodhya Sparkles With Over 25 Lakh Diyas On Deepotsav

The grand Deepostav celebrations in Uttar Pradesh’s Ayodhya saw over 25 lakh earthen lamps being lit together in an initiative aimed at creating a Guinness record. The Deepotsav showcased the spiritual, traditional, and cultural essence of the holy city, with performances by artists from six countries — Myanmar, Nepal, Thailand, Malaysia, Cambodia, and Indonesia — along with a Ram Leela presentation from Uttarakhand. Additionally, various artists from different states performed at the event. Earlier today, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath received the Deepotsav with an ‘aarti’. The wealthiest of them is the BJP’s  Parag Shah – the sitting MLA from Ghatkopar East  — whose current worth is is Rs 3383.06 crore according to his election affidavit. Gujarat Congress MLA Jignesh Mevani on Wednesday demanded the suspension of Mahisagar District Collector Neha Kumari, accusing her of making anti-Dalit comments, a charge the bureaucrat rejected. Mr Mevani’s demand comes a week after he sought similar action against senior IPS officer Rajkumar Pandian for allegedly misbehaving with him and one of his party colleagues. The MLA targeted Kumari citing a purported video in which she was heard saying that 90 per cent of cases registered under the Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes (Prevention of Atrocities) Act, or the Atrocities Act, are used for blackmailing. Spain: At Least 62 Killed, Hundreds Trapped As Flash Floods Bring Valencia To A Standstill, Rescue Ops On

<p>At least 62 people have been killed in the floods in Spain after the eastern region of Valencia was battered by torrential rains on Tuesday. Heavy rain and fierce winds also lashed the southern Andalusia region. According to the region’s fire service chief Jose Miguel Basset, “several hundred people” remained trapped on two motorways in the region.
