Pakistan’s Maryam Nawaz Participates In Diwali Celebrations, Calls for ‘Smog Diplomacy’ With India

<p><strong>Pakistan</strong>: Former Pakistan Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif’s daughter and Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif on Wednesday (October 30) announced various initiatives to support minorities in the state as she participated in the Diwali celebrations held at 90-Shahrah-e-Quaid-e-Azam.</p> <p>Maryam Nawaz also revealed that she had written a letter to the CM of India’s Punjab Bhagwant Singh Mann to undertake joint efforts to eliminate smog. Paralysed, unable to fly or even waddle, a shoveller sits helpless in the sand at the edge of Rajasthan’s Sambhar lake. At some distance another bird — a black-winged stilt — sips water, its leg awkwardly placed and incapable of motion. They believed a legal career was full of challenges and hardship, sources close to him said.
