Kamala Harris vs Donald Trump: Who Leads The Race To White House After Debate

Democrat nominee Kamala Harris has extended her lead over Republican Donald Trump in the race to win the November 5 US presidential election, according to various polls conducted after the September 10 televised debate between the two candidates.  Harris, widely perceived as having outperformed Trump in the debate, now leads her Republican rival 47% to 42% in a September 11-19 Reuters/Ipsos poll. After Court Order, X Goes Offline Again In Brazil

Elon Musk’s X social media platform went back offline in Brazil Thursday, a day after it resumed service in contravention of a judicial ban, internet providers said. Brazil’s Supreme Court had earlier in the day ordered X to suspend access to the platform, finding the company had “unlawfully, persistently and intentionally” flouted judicial rulings and would risk a daily fine of more than $900,000 for non-compliance. The former Twitter was banned last month in Latin America’s largest nation, but access to the phone app returned Wednesday in what the government slammed as a deliberate violation of the suspension. The CBI on Thursday interrogated TMC youth leader Ashish Pandey, who is also a house staff at RG Kar Medical College and Hospital, in connection with the rape and murder of the doctor, an officer said. Mr Pandey was questioned for hours at the CBI’s CGO Complex office before he left late in the night, he said. “Pandey’s phone number was found in the call lists of several persons. He had checked in at a hotel in Salt Lake with a woman friend on the day the trainee doctor’s body was found. We are trying to ascertain his activities on that day,” the CBI officer said.
