Several children were feared killed in a fire that broke out at a hospital in Uttar Pradesh’s Jhansi Friday evening. The fire broke out in the children’s ward of the Jhansi Medical College which led to a stampede-like situation in the hospital. Doctors and medical staff were seen evacuating patients by breaking the windows of the ward filled with smoke. Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath took note of the tragic accident and expressed his condolence to the families of the victims. He also directed officials and doctors to reach the spot immediately for relief work. Pakistan’s Punjab govt declares smog ‘health crisis’, uses artificial rain to combat pollution

<p> Lahore, Nov 15 (PTI): Pakistan’s Punjab government on Friday declared smog a “health crisis” and used artificial rain in several cities across the province in an effort to combat its hazardous levels, as millions reported breathing problems and other respiratory issues over the past month.</p><p> This is the second time the Punjab government went for artificial rain. A leopard entered the garden of a house and viciously attacked a pet dog in Rajasthan’s Mount Abu on Friday. CCTV footage shows a black dog, which appears to be a Labrador Retriever, walking into the garden of the house in Sunrise Valley when the leopard jumps across the boundary wall of the premises and pounces on it. The leopard can be seen biting the dog’s neck and holding on as the latter struggles to free itself.
