Airlines Suspend Flights As Middle East Tensions Rise

Concerns over a wider conflict in the Middle East have prompted international airlines to suspend flights to the region or to avoid affected air space. Below are some of the airlines that have adjusted services to and from the region: AIR ALGERIE The Algerian airline suspended flights to and from Lebanon until further notice. Israel Destroys 1,000 Hezbollah Rocket Launcher Barrels, Says Military

 Israeli fighter jets pounded Hezbollah targets in southern Lebanon late on Thursday, striking hundreds of rocket launcher barrels that were set to be used to immediately fire toward Israeli territory, the military said. It said that since the afternoon, fighter jets struck some 100 rocket launchers consisting of about 1,000 barrels. “The IDF (Israel Defense Forces) will continue to operate to degrade the Hezbollah terrorist organization’s infrastructure and capabilities in order to defend the State of Israel,” the IDF said. Gangster Jumps To Death From Delhi Flyover To Evade Arrest

A man allegedly jumped to death on Thursday afternoon from Shahdara flyover in the trans-Yamuna area when Delhi police went to arrest him on suspicion of connection with a jailed gangster, police said. Police said he was identified as Jakir alias Sonu. He had 10 criminal cases registered against him. He was suspected to be a member of a gang run by the jailed gangster Irfaan alias Chhenu in the eastern part of Delhi, they said.
