Moscow Airports Shut, 1 Injured After Ukraine’s Biggest-Ever Drone Attack

Ukraine attacked Moscow on Sunday with at least 32 drones, the biggest drone strike on the Russian capital since the start of the war in 2022, forcing flights to be diverted from three of the city’s major airports and injuring at least one person. Russian air defences shot down 32 drones flying towards Moscow over the Ramenskoye and Kolomensky districts of the Moscow region, as well as in Domodedovo city, home to one of the city’s biggest airports, Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin said. “32 drones flying to Moscow have been destroyed,” Sobyanin said. A 24-year-old American YouTuber, named Johnny Somali, has apologised after getting involved in a highly controversial incident in Korea. Mr Somali sparked massive outrage when he kissed the statue of a girl, symbolising Korean victims of wartime sexual slavery, during his visit to Changdong History and Culture Park in Seoul’s Dobong district, The Korea Times reported. The apology was shared on the YouTube channel Company on Thursday. South Africa’s Lizelle Lee created history on Sunday as she recorded the highest individual score since the women’s Big Bash League was launched in 2015. Lee hammered 12 sixes in a record unbeaten 150 for the Hobart Hurricanes on Sunday during the WBBL match against the Perth Scorchers. The 32-year-old opener also slammed 12 fours in her 75-ball blitz as the Hurricanes posted a whopping total of 203/3 in 20 overs. Later, they bundled out the Scorchers for 131 and won the match by 72 runs.
