At least 41 people have been killed in Ukraine’s Poltava after Russia launched two ballistic missiles today, Ukraine President Zelensky said today. Writing on social media website X, President Zelensky said, “I received preliminary reports on the Russian strike in Poltava. According to available information, two ballistic missiles hit the area. They targeted an educational institution and a nearby hospital, partially destroying one of the telecommunications institute’s buildings.” He went on to write that many are feared trapped in the debris. Haryana’s Subhan Khan has emerged as a real-life hero after rescuing nine people marooned on a bridge amid raging floods in Telangana. Mr Khan drove a bulldozer to the bridge and returned with the group stuck on it. Nine people were trapped on Prakash Nagar bridge on Munneru river in Telangana’s Khammam district after the rise in water level. They recorded a video, requesting the state government to rescue them.
