Two women were killed in fresh rounds of violence in Manipur in the last two days. In the first incident, a woman from the Hmar tribe was allegedly shot, raped and set on fire in Jiribam district by suspected Meitei insurgents on Thursday night, according to a police case filed by her husband. In the second incident, a woman from the Meitei community was shot dead by suspected Kuki insurgents while she was working in a paddy field in Bishnupur district on Saturday, police sources said. In Jiribam, the 31-year-old woman and her three children were in their house when the attack happened. A minor who had gone to Kanpur to prepare for her NEET (National Eligibility cum Entrance Test) medical entrance exam was allegedly raped and blackmailed for months by two well-known teachers from a popular coaching centre in the city. Police said one of the teachers was arrested a few months ago after CCTV footage of him allegedly sexually harassing another student was widely shared and this gave the survivor the courage to finally file a complaint. IBPS RRB PO Mains 2024: The Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) has issued the scorecard for the post of Officer Scale I, Scale II, and Scale III.
