Bengal Must Support CISF For Kolkata Hospital: Centre Approaches Top Court

The housing of Central Industrial Security Forces, deployed at the hospital where the shocking rape-murder of a doctor took place last month, appears set to be the next flashpoint between Bengal’s ruling Trinamool Congress and the BJP. The court also said the progress in the investigation was “unsatisfactory”. “Efforts must be made to ensure that inform private doctors become aware that they cannot refuse to examine a rape victim under the POCSO Act. They cannot say, ‘go to… Read More »High Court Raps Investigation In Thane Rape Case, Implementation Of POCSO

In an interview to NDTV a week back, former Chief Minister Bhupinder Singh Hooda said there have been no talks on an alliance between the two parties. “The alliance we had was at the national level. We have not spoken to them. Here the fight is between BJP and Congress,” he said.
