The altercation reportedly took place at the Idgah Tiraha in Bhinga. Rajesh Gupta, the younger brother of BJP leader Rakesh Gupta, is the treasurer of BJP in Shravasti district. He allegedly got furious over being asked to pull his car to the side and slapped an on-duty policeman while using abusive language. The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has released marks for non-recommended candidates of the Civil Services Examination (CSE) 2023.
