The abandoned Hertz Tower in Lake Charles, Louisiana, was imploded after sustaining damage from Hurricanes Laura and Delta. The 22-story building collapsed in seconds after a demolition crew triggered a series of explosions inside. As reported by the New York Post, the tower fell into a large cloud of dust, forming a pile about five stories high. Former US Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice has dismissed concerns around Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s Russia visit, saying that the US can’t hold India to a loyalty test every five minutes. The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) is expected to release the scorecards for the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test for Postgraduate medical entrance test (NEET PG) 2024 today. Once released, candidates will be able to check the score cards for 50 per cent All India Quota Seats on the official website of MCC.  The board had announced the NEET PG results on August 23, 2024. The exam was conducted on August 11.
