The Congress on Tuesday appointed Charanjit Singh Channi and Mukesh Agnihotri as AICC senior observers for the assembly elections in Jammu and Kashmir. While Mr Channi is a former Punjab chief minister, Mr Agnihotri is the Deputy Chief Minister of Himachal Pradesh.
