International Criminal Court Issues Arrest Warrants Against Israeli PM Netanyahu, Ex-Minister Gallant

<p>The International Criminal Court (ICC) has issued arrest warrants for Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, former Defence Minister Yoav Gallant and the Hamas’s military commander for alleged war crimes and crimes against humanity.</p> <p class=”sc-eb7bd5f6-0 fYAfXe”>A statement said that a pre-trial chamber had rejected Israel’s challenges to the ICC’s jurisdiction and issued warrants for Benjamin Netanyahu and Yoav Gallant, according to BBC.</p> <p class=”sc-eb7bd5f6-0 fYAfXe”>A warrant was also issued for Hamas leader Mohammed Deif, also known as Ibrahim Al-Masri, although the Israeli military has said he was killed in an air strike in Gaza in July. Staggered Work Timings For Central Government Employees In Delhi Due To Air Pollution

The central government has tweaked the working timings of its employees in Delhi due to severe air pollution. The Delhi government has already changed work timing for its staff. The Centre suggested government employees to use carpooling and take public transport as much as possible to minimise air pollution, an officer said. “These measures may be adopted by ministries/departments/organisations as per their functional requirements ensuring that it should not have an adverse impact on efficiency and productivity in any manner,” the order read. World Court Issues Arrest Warrant Against Hamas Chief, Israel PM Netanyahu

The International Criminal Court in The Hague said on Thursday that it had issued warrants for the arrest of Hamas leader Mohammed Diab Ibrahim Al-Masri (also known as Mohammed Deif) and Israel’s President Benjamin Netanyahu and its former defence minister Yoav Gallant. The ICC said Israel’s acceptance of the court’s jurisdiction was not required.
