Maharashtra Chief Minister Eknath Shinde has said that the trial of Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) leader Baba Siddique’s murder case will take place in a fast-track court. The Chief Minister also declared that the encounter specialist Daya Nayak will investigate the incident. He said, “The Mumbai Police have been directed to maintain law and order and they should see that nobody takes law and order into their hands. Gang war should not revive. Actor Playing Kumbhakarna During Ramlila Complains Of Chest Pain, Dies

A 60-year-old man died after he complained of chest pain while playing the role of demon king Ravana’s brother Kumbhakarna during a Ramlila event in south Delhi’s Chirag Dilli area, police said on Saturday. The incident took place around 11 pm on Friday. Vikram Taneja, a resident of Paschim Vihar, was playing the role of Kumbhakarna in Savitri Nagar Ramlila in Malviya Nagar when he complained of chest pain. He was taken to Akash Hospital, from where he was referred to PSRI Hospital. He died during treatment on Saturday, a police officer said. It is suspected that Taneja died of a heart attack. 4 Injured In Indiscriminate Firing At Durga Puja Pandal In Bihar

Four men suffered injuries in indiscriminate firing at a Durga Puja pandal in Bihar’s Arrah early Sunday morning. The unidentified shooters came on two motorcycles, opened fire in the pandal and fled, according to the eyewitnesses. The cops have recovered two bullet cartridges from the spot. The injured have been identified as Arman Ansari, 19, Sunil Kumar Yadav, 26, Roshan Kumar, 25, and Sipahi Kumar.
