Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam (DMK) MP Kanimozhi Karunanidhi today said the deaths of five people due to suspected heat stroke after an Indian Air Force show in Chennai was “very painful” and that “unmanageable gatherings” should be avoided, tacitly taking on the IAF that aimed to set a world record by bringing together about 15 lakh spectators. <p>The Delhi High Court on Monday again adjourned hearing bail pleas of Umar Khalid, Sharjeel Imam and other accused persons in connection with the larger conspiracy UAPA case related to the North-East Delhi riotsof 2020.</p> <p>The matters were listed today for fresh hearing before a new bench comprising of Justice Navin Chawla and Justice Shalinder Kaur.&nbsp;</p> <p>The court was to hear today bail pleas by other co-accused Mohd. <p>Maldivian President Mohamed Muizzu and Prime Minister Narendra Modi held meeting on Monday in New Delhi’s Hyderabad House during Muizzu’s first bilateral trip to India. Ahead of the meeting, Muizzu who is accompanied by First Lady Sajidha Mohamed and a Maldivian delegation,&nbsp;was accorded a ceremonial welcome and given guard of honour at the forecourt of the Rashtrapati Bhavan.&nbsp;</p> <p>He arrived in India on Sunday evening.&nbsp;</p> <p>Earlier in the day, Muizzu visited the Rajghat where he paid homage to Mahatma Gandhi by laying a wreath.
