Ratan Tata, chairman emeritus of Tata Sons and a philanthropist, died on October 9. He was 86. He was reportedly admitted to Mumbai’s Breach Candy hospital in critical condition, where he breathed his last. Ratan Tata, chairman emeritus of one of India’s biggest conglomerates, Tata Sons, has died at 86.
