IGNOU Invites Applications For Best Innovation Awards 2024

National Centre for Innovation in Distance Education (NCIDE) has invited from IGNOU students for Best Innovation Award-2024. Any student of IGNOU with valid registration who  has done any kind of innovation in the preferable theme area can submit his/her entry in the prescribed format. The best three innovators will be given certificates, trophies and cash prizes of Rs 10,000, Rs. 7,000 and Rs. 5,000 respectively. India’s Food Habits Found Most Sustainable Amongst Major Economies, Says WWF Report

<p><span style=”font-weight: 400;”>A recent report found that the food consumption patterns in India are the most sustainable amongst the major economies in the world. The report titled, &lsquo;Living Planet Report 2024&rsquo;, by the World Wide Fund for Nature (WWF) said that India emerged as the most sustainable nation in the category.</span></p> <p><span style=”font-weight: 400;”>The study noted that if other nations follow India&rsquo;s lead in its dietary habits, the environmental burden of food production could be reduced drastically, reported Moneycontrol. The findings revealed that India&rsquo;s food consumption would need less than one Earth (0.84) to sustain food production demands by 2050.
