3 Children Killed, 8 Injured In Truck-Auto Collision Near Bihar’s Patna

Three children were killed and eight people were injured as their autorickshaw collided head-on with a speeding truck in Bihta on the outskirts of Patna on Friday, police said. The accident happened around 2 pm in the Vishunpura area, Station House Officer (SHO) Raj Kumar Pandey of Bihta police station told PTI. “While three children died on the spot, eight people, including the driver of the autorickshaw, were injured. Immediately after the accident, the truck driver fled the spot,” he said. “The bodies have been sent for the post-mortem examination. US charges Indian national with conspiring to illegally export aviation components to Russia

Police have booked 25 people for allegedly attacking a team of Nagar Panchayat and Municipality officials for removing an encroachment in Uttar Pradesh’s Jewar, an officer said on Friday. The incident occurred on November 19 when the Jewar Nagar Panchayat along with civic officials had gone to remove an encroachment in front of a shop at the main intersection, the officer said.
