China deployed fighter jets and warships to encircle Taiwan on Monday in drills Beijing said were aimed at sending a “stern warning” to “separatist” forces on the self-ruled island. Beijing has not ruled out using force to bring Taiwan under its control and Monday’s drills represent its fourth round of large-scale war games in just over two years. Thieves with a conscience? In a strange event, in Bikaner’s Napasar town, police found an abandoned Scorpio car with its number plate missing. But what served as clues were the three handwritten notes that helped the police trace the vehicle to its original owner in Delhi’s Palam colony. The Scorpio had two notes stuck to the rear glass. Baba Siddique Shooters Threw Chilli Powder At Cop, Say Unaware Of Mastermind

The three men who shot dead politician Baba Siddique on Saturday threw chilli powder at the police constable who was guarding the former Maharashtra minister, sources said. Mr Siddique, a three-time MLA, was killed as he left his son, MLA Zeeshan Siddique’s office in Mumbai’s Bandra East on Saturday evening.  Among the three shooters, Gurmel Baljit Singh, 23, a resident of Haryana and 19-year-old Dharmaraj Kashyap of Uttar Pradesh have been arrested. The third shooter, Shivkumar Gautam from Uttar Pradesh, is still on the run.
