Enough Evidence To Prosecute Coaching Centre Deaths Accused: CBI To Court

The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) on Tuesday informed a Delhi court that there was enough evidence to prosecute the accused persons in the death case connected to the flooding in an Old Rajinder Nagar coaching institute. The civil services aspirants had lost their lives following a torrential downpour in the national capital leading to the flooding at the coaching institute. Principal District and Sessions Judge Anju Bajaj Chandna heard the submissions of the CBI, which urged the court to take cognisance of a chargesheet filed in the case. Supreme Court Calls Security To Remove Petitioner From Courtroom

Do not use the name of the judge, the Supreme Court had advised the petitioner. He insisted that he be heard. A heated exchange followed. Irked, the Supreme Court summoned the security to remove the petitioner from the courtroom. Arun Ramchandra Hublikar had filed a petition against ex-Chief Justice of India Ranjan Gogoi, now a Rajya Sabha member. A Russian man was found alive after drifting for two months on an inflatable boat while another man and a teenage boy died, prosecutors said Tuesday. S Jaishankar 1st Minister In Nearly A Decade To Visit Pakistan. What’s Expected

External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar today landed in Islamabad to attend a conclave of the Shanghai Cooperation Organisation (SCO), in the first visit to Pakistan by an Indian minister in nearly a decade. Ilyas Mehmood Nizami, the Director General for South Asia at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, warmly received Mr Jaishankar at Nur Khan Airbase in Islamabad, a foreign statement said. Children dressed in traditional attire presented bouquets to the foreign dignitaries. A red carpet was rolled out to welcome the guests, underscoring the importance of the event, it added.
