Jharkhand To Vote In 2 Phases On November 13 and 20, Results On November 23

A year of elections is set to come to a close with the Jharkhand and Maharashtra Assembly polls and the Election Commission announced on Tuesday that the eastern state will vote in two phases, beginning November 13. The second phase of voting will be held on November 20 and the counting will be done on November 23.  Jharkhand has 81 Assembly seats, with 41 needed to get a majority, and the state has 2.6 crore voters. 

Vettaiyan Box Office Collection Day 5: Nothing Can Stop Rajinikanth’s Film

Rajinikanth’s film Vettaiyan has been performing well at the box office. After a good opening, the movie entered the Rs 100 crore club in four days. On its first Monday, Vettaiyan saw a dip in its box office collections. The film garnered ₹5.25 crore on October 14, reported Sacnilk. The action-drama saw an overall 63.81% Tamil occupancy. Maharashtra To Vote On Nov 20, Jharkhand In 2 Phases, Results On Nov 23

The Maharashtra and Jharkhand Assembly elections will be held across two phases beginning November 13, the Election Commission said Tuesday. Jharkhand will vote on November 13 and November 20 while Maharashtra will vote on November 20. Counting of votes for both states will take place on November 23, the poll panel said. In the 2019 Jharkhand election Chief Minister Hemant Soren’s Jharkhand Mukti Morcha – part of the Congress-led United Progressive Alliance – won 47 of the state’s 82 seats.
