Since Prime Minister Narendra Modi attended and addressed the 79th UN General Assembly Session in New York last month, multiple social media users have shared posts claiming that India had secured a permanent seat in the UN Security Council with veto power. Hoax Calls Ground 3 Flights, Air India Jet Lands At Remote Canada Airport

An Air India direct flight from New Delhi to Chicago was diverted to Iqaluit Airport in Canada today following a hoax bomb threat which was posted online. Yesterday, two IndiGo and one Air India flight also received fake threats. “Flight AI127 operating from Delhi to Chicago on October 15, 2024, was the subject of a security threat posted online and, as a precautionary measure, has landed at Iqaluit Airport in Canada. “The aircraft and passengers are being re-screened as per the laid down security protocol.
