This new Central Sector Scheme aims to provide country-wide access to international high-impact scholarly research articles and journal publications for students, faculty, and researchers in government-managed higher education institutions and research organisations. Hindu Monk Chinmoy Krishna Das Brahmachari Arrested In Bangladesh

HDFC Life Insurance Reports Data Leak, Assesses Impact of Breach

HDFC Life Insurance on Monday said there have been some instances of data leaks and assessing potential impact of this breach. “We have received communication from an unknown source, who has shared certain data fields of our customers with us, with mala fide intent,” HDFC Life said in a regulatory filing. The company has initiated an information security assessment and data log analysis, it said. A detailed investigation is underway in consultation with information security experts to assess the root cause and take remedial action, as necessary, it said. Indian Man Charged For Sexually Harassing 4 Women On Singapore Airlines Flight

A 73-year-old Indian national was charged in a Singapore court on Monday for allegedly molesting four women while on board a Singapore Airlines (SIA) flight from the United States to Singapore. Balasubramanian Ramesh is accused of molesting one of the women four times and is said to have targeted the three others once each on the flight on November 18. He was handed seven molestation charges in a district court on Monday, The Straits Times reported. Russia said Monday its air defences had shot down eight ballistic missiles fired by Ukraine, amid heightened tensions over Kyiv’s use of Western-supplied long-range arms against Russia.
