A married businessman was arrested for stabbing his live-in partner and school-time love in Haryana’s Sonipat and setting her body on fire over a domestic dispute, police said on Sunday. Upkar killed Sarita, who had been living with him for six years after separating from her husband, on October 25 in Rishi Colony in the Civil Lines area and burnt the entire house to give it the shape of a fire accident, police said. “Upkar’s wife was aware of his live-in relationship, while Sarita had divorced her husband whom she married in 2004.
