2 Women Climbers, Stuck At 6,000 Metres In Uttarakhand For 3 Days, Rescued

Two foreign women mountaineers, who were stranded at a height of 6,015 metres on their way to the Chaukhamba III peak in Uttarakhand’s Chamoli district, were rescued on Sunday morning, the District Disaster Management Centre here said. The mountaineers — Michelle Theresa Dvorak from the USA and Fav Jane Manners from the United Kingdom — were stranded since October 3. Two IAF helicopters began a search operation to trace them on Friday. A man died of a heart attack while performing in a Ramleela. Sushil Kaushik, 45, a resident of East Delhi was performing the role of Lord Rama when he suffered a heart attack. Dressed in a beautiful bronze colour outfit with gold and silver detailing, Sushil was enacting a scene when the unfortunate incident happened. As seen on camera, he was sitting on his right knee, with arms wide open. He got up, took two steps and suddenly felt uneasy. With a hand on his chest, he rushed to the backstage.
