<p>Srinagar, Oct 5 (PTI) Awami Ittehad Party chief Sheikh Abdul Rashid on Saturday said irrespective of the Jammu and Kashmir assembly election results, the Union Territory’s control will lie with Delhi.</p> <p>Rashid, popularly known as Engineer Rashid, also said he does not rely on exit polls and would wait for the final outcome of the assembly polls.</p> <p>Congress leader Charanjit Singh Channi met the AIP chief at his residence here on Saturday. Assam Police Arrest 10 In Major JeM Crackdown; CM Himanta Sarma Alleges Congress ‘Protecting This Ecosystem’

Lt Gen Srivastava Takes Charge Of Army’s Chinar Corps, Urges Civil Society To Propel Kashmir Towards Peace

<p>Lieutenant General Prashant Srivastava assumed command of the strategic 15 Corps, also known as Chinar Corps, in Srinagar on Saturday as Lieutenant General Rajiv Ghai stepped down as the General Officer Commanding (GOC) on the same day. Sydney has been named the world’s best city in a survey conducted by Conde Nast Traveller. The top-10 global cities rankings are part of the publication’s annual Readers’ Choice Awards for 2024, which launched on October 1 in the UK. Sydney, which ranked no. 1 with a score of 92.26, was praised by the Conde Nast Traveller UK for its “unique, indoor-outdoor way of life”.
