Scientists have introduced a novel concept to ensure food safety for astronauts on long-duration deep space missions. A study published in The International Journal of Astrobiology suggests that astronauts could use asteroids to meet their nutritional needs. While they won’t be eating rocks directly, the idea is to extract and convert the carbon from space rocks into something edible. Zomato CEO Deepinder Goyal on Sunday alleged that a mall in Gurugram stopped him from using the lift while he was picking up a food order as a delivery executive. A passenger train was briefly halted after the loco pilot saw a pile of soil dumped on the rail tracks near Raghuraj Singh station here on Sunday, police said. The soil was removed from the track and rail traffic was resumed on the route, SHO Devendra Bhadoria said. “A small pile of soil was dumped on the railway track because of which a shuttle train from Raibareli was stopped,” Bhadoria said.
