Asteroids Could Be Used To Prepare Meals For Future Astronauts: Study

Scientists have introduced a novel concept to ensure food safety for astronauts on long-duration deep space missions. A study published in The International Journal of Astrobiology suggests that astronauts could use asteroids to meet their nutritional needs. While they won’t be eating rocks directly, the idea is to extract and convert the carbon from space rocks into something edible. This concept addresses the limitations of the amount of dried food astronauts can carry and space farming hasn’t evolved yet. Zomato CEO Says He Was Stopped From Using Mall’s Lift While Collecting Order

Zomato CEO Deepinder Goyal on Sunday alleged that a mall in Gurugram stopped him from using the lift while he was picking up a food order as a delivery executive. <p>Two Chinese nationals were killed in a massive explosion near Pakistan’s international airport in Karachi on Sunday night, Reuters reported quoting the Chinese Embassy. Israel continued air strikes in Beirut’s southern suburbs on Sunday as part of its campaign against Hezbollah in Lebanon, where the Iran-backed group is based. The Israeli military said it “struck Hezbollah terrorist targets and weapons storage facilities in Beirut”. Heap Of Soil Found On Rail Tracks, Loco Pilot Stops Train Just In Time

A passenger train was briefly halted after the loco pilot saw a pile of soil dumped on the rail tracks near Raghuraj Singh station here on Sunday, police said. The soil was removed from the track and rail traffic was resumed on the route, SHO Devendra Bhadoria said. “A small pile of soil was dumped on the railway track because of which a shuttle train from Raibareli was stopped,” Bhadoria said. The locals reported that road construction is underway in the area, involving the use of dumpers to transport soil at night.
