“Omar Abdullah Banega J&K Chief Minister,” Announces Farooq Abdullah

Omar Abdullah will become Jammu and Kashmir’s Chief Minister, declared Farooq Abdullah today as his National Conference party is set to sweep the assembly elections in alliance with the Congress. Farooq Abdullah made the announcement while greeting his supporters towards the end of counting of votes in Jammu and Kashmir’s first elections in 10 years. Omar Abdullah had earlier served in the top post from 2009 till 2015.
