Moon Not Sighted in Hyderabad – Eid Expected on March 31, 2025

Hyderabad, March 29, 2025: The crescent moon marking the beginning of Shawwal was not sighted in Hyderabad on Saturday evening. As a result, Eid-ul-Fitr is expected to be celebrated on Monday, March 31, 2025, pending further moon sighting reports on Sunday evening.

In contrast, countries like Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates (UAE) have confirmed the sighting of the moon and are observing Eid today, March 30, 2025.

Muslims in Hyderabad and other parts of India will continue fasting for another day, awaiting official confirmation from local moon sighting committees. Religious authorities have urged people to stay updated through official announcements.
