Life of Prophet Muhammad ﷺ
Prophet Muhammad ﷺ was the final messenger of Allah, sent to guide humanity. His life is a model of truth, justice, and mercy.
Birth and Early Life (570 CE – 610 CE)
- Birth: Born in 570 CE in Makkah, Arabia.
- Orphanhood: His father Abdullah passed away before his birth, and his mother Aminah passed away when he was six.
- Honesty & Character: He was known as Al-Sadiq (The Truthful) and Al-Ameen (The Trustworthy).
Prophethood (610 CE – 622 CE)
- First Revelation: At the age of 40, Angel Jibreel appeared in the Cave of Hira with the command to “Read!”
- Public Preaching: After three years, he started inviting people to Islam.
- Persecution: The Quraysh opposed him and tortured his followers.
Migration to Madinah (Hijrah) – 622 CE
Due to increasing threats, he migrated to Madinah, where he established the first Islamic state and a peaceful society.
Battles and Struggles (624 CE – 630 CE)
- Battle of Badr (624 CE): The Muslims defeated the Quraysh army.
- Battle of Uhud (625 CE): The Muslims suffered losses but remained strong.
- Conquest of Makkah (630 CE): Prophet Muhammad ﷺ entered Makkah peacefully and forgave his enemies.
Final Years and Death (632 CE)
He performed his Farewell Pilgrimage and gave the famous Farewell Sermon. He passed away on June 8, 632 CE at the age of 63.
