The meeting, attended by leaders including JP Nadda and BL Santosh, lasted till late into the night. The main discussion was on allocating two seats to the alliance party, with potential LJP (Ram Vilas) candidates emerging in Burari, Sedu and Devali constituencies. Meanwhile, the Congress has released a list of five candidates to contest the Delhi assembly elections of the 70 seats, 68 have been declared and the Congress has already finalized its list of seats. Rahul Gandhi’s recent comments on the Indian state have sparked controversy, with BJP leaders including Ravi Shankar Prasad accusing him of using Maoist language. Hardeep Singh Puri has also criticised Gandhi, compare him to a “Soros agent”.
