<p><strong>Gujarat News: </strong>Union Home Minister Amit Shah commenced his three-day visit to Gujarat on Tuesday, marking Makar Sankranti, also known as Uttarayan in the state, with a kite-flying session in Ahmedabad. Shah flew kites on the terrace of Shantiniketan Apartments in the Memnagar area, accompanied by Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel, Ahmedabad Mayor Pratibha Jain, Deputy Mayor Jatin Patel, and other local BJP leaders and councillors, as per a state government release. </p>
<p>Shah’s family, including his wife Sonalben and son Jay, also participated in the festivities and offered prayers at the Jagannath Temple in the Jamalpur area. </p>

<p>Later in the day, the Union Minister is scheduled to lay the foundation stone for a new police station building and 920 residential apartments in Ghatlodia. </p>
<p>He took to X and shared photos of his visit writing, “Today celebrated Uttarayan Kite Festival in Ghatlodia Assembly. May this festival of Uttarayan bring new energy into everyone’s life.”</p>

<h3><strong>Amit Shah To Unveil Railway Underbridge In Gandhinagar, Inaugurate Gujarat’s First Bone Bank</strong></h3>
<p>On Wednesday, Shah will inaugurate several projects, including laying the foundation stone for a barrage on the Sabarmati River near Ambod village and virtually inaugurating a circuit house in Mansa, Gandhinagar. He will also launch a project to upgrade the Sanand-Kalol road from two lanes to four lanes and address a gathering at Kalol after inaugurating an auditorium at Kalol Taluka Kelavani Mandal. </p>
<p>Among other key inaugurations on Wednesday are a railway underbridge near Saij village in Gandhinagar and Gujarat’s first bone bank at Krishna Shalby Multi-Specialty Hospital in the Bopal area of Ahmedabad. </p>
<p>Shah’s itinerary for Thursday includes a visit to Vadnagar town in Mehsana district, where he will inaugurate a museum, a sports complex, and other projects. He will also address a gathering at Science College, visit the Hatkeshwar Temple, and attend the 18th convocation of Ganpat University as the chief guest. </p>
