‘He Isn’t Our Disciplinarian’: Swami Rambhadracharya Slams Mohan Bhagwat Over Mandir-Masjid Remark

Jagadguru Swami Rambhadracharya has expressed his reservation over a remark by Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh chief Mohan Bhagwat who said that some wannabe politicians are trying to be ‘leader of Hindus’.
“I completely disagree with Mohan Bhagwat’s statement. Let me make it clear, Mohan Bhagwat is not our disciplinarian, but we are,” the Hindu seer said while speaking to IANS. 
On Thursday, <a href=”https://news.abplive.com/news/india/ayodhya-temple-mandir-masjid-conflict-mohan-bhagwat-on-temple-and-mosque-row-in-india-1738635″ target=”_blank” rel=”noopener”>Bhagwat flagged the resurgence of temple-mosque disputes</a> and advised people against raking up such issues. The RSS chief said no one will become a “leader of Hindus” by raking up temple-mosque disputes and spreading communal divide.
”There should be a Ram Temple and it indeed happened. That is a site of devotion for Hindus… But raking up new issues every day for disdain and enmity should not be done. Some people think they can become leaders of Hindus by raking up such issues every day. This is not acceptable,” Bhagwat had said. 
Swami Rambhadracharya also spoke on the ongoing tension in Sambhal, Uttar Pradesh describing the situation as deeply concerning. “What is happening in Sambhal right now is very bad. However, the positive aspect is that things are being uncovered in favour of Hindus. We will secure this, through the courts, through the ballot, and with public support,” he said.
He expressed strong concern over atrocities against minority Hindus in Bangladesh and condemned the violence. “What is happening there is very bad. We have raised this issue with the government. The interim government in Bangladesh is extremely cruel. But wait and watch, everyone responsible for these acts against Hindus will face consequences,” he asserted.
On the upcoming Mahakumbh slated to take place next year in Uttar Pradesh’s Prayagraj, Swami Rambhadracharya urged people to participate wholeheartedly.
“Everyone should come. Everyone will have the opportunity to take a holy dip. Pray to the Almighty for the integrity and unity of Bharat,” he said, extending his invitation to devotees across the nation.
