Starting today, the Delhi government is opening registrations for two key welfare schemes in preparation for the 2025 elections. The first, Mahila Samman Yojana, is designed to provide financial assistance to women over 18 years of age in Delhi. Under this program, eligible women will receive ₹2100 monthly, which will be directly credited to their bank accounts, promoting financial independence and empowerment. The second scheme, Sanjeevani Yojana, aims to offer free healthcare to senior citizens aged 60 and above, ensuring they incur no out-of-pocket expenses for medical treatment. Registrations for both initiatives will be launched today by Delhi’s Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal, current CM Atishi, and Minister Manish Sisodia. These programs are part of the government’s commitment to improving the welfare of women and ensuring better healthcare access for the elderly in the city.
