Starting today, the Delhi government is launching registrations for two major welfare schemes as part of preparations for the 2025 elections. The first scheme, Mahila Samman Yojana, aims to provide financial support to women above 18 years of age in Delhi. Under this scheme, ₹2100 will be deposited monthly into the bank accounts of eligible women, offering them financial independence and empowerment. The second initiative, Sanjeevani Yojana, is focused on providing free healthcare services to senior citizens aged 60 and above. Under this scheme, elderly individuals will receive free medical treatment, eliminating any out-of-pocket expenses for their healthcare needs. The registration for both schemes will be officially launched today by Delhi’s Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal, current CM Atishi, and Minister Manish Sisodia. These initiatives are aimed at enhancing the welfare of women and improving healthcare access for senior citizens in Delhi, reflecting the government’s focus on social welfare.
