<p>Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Friday announced an ex gratia payment for the next of kin of the deceased and those injured in the road accident on the Jaipur-Ajmer Highway in Rajasthan.&nbsp;</p>
<p>Seven people were killed while over 35 were injured in a deadly collision involving a gas tanker and multiple vehicles on the highway triggering a fire that gutted over 30 vehicles.&nbsp;</p>
<p>PM Modi expressed grief on the loss of lives and speedy recovery to those injured. He announced an ex gratia payment of Rs 2 lakh from the Prime Minister’s Relief Fund for the next of kin of the deceased and a financial assistance of Rs 50,000 to the injured.&nbsp;</p>
